They might be veiwed as useless or silly by some, but are there any benchmarks for Kaffe comparing it to other JDKs or even just comparing Virtual Machines? I saw some benchmark comparison on the JavaLobby, I think it was, but they just spoke of a JVM for linux, without specifying which one.
