I am interested in such a port and would be willing to help pull it off. I have some moderate programming experience -- most recently in Java and Ada 95. Interested in receiving advice and exchanging notes. I want the port to replace the obsolete kaffe that comes with MachTen -- I need a version that supports JNI - style native method interfaces.
