OpenVM 1.0beta1 on OSF1 3.2

I've hit another snag in the compilation.  I get the following
message:

support.c:518: unknown register name `edx' in `asm'

support.c:518: unknown register name `eax' in `asm'
make[2]:***[support.o] Error 1

So something doesn't compile with 
kaffe-1.0.b1/kaffe/kaffevm/support.c

Anybody know the fix?

BTW, I am making a list of modifications in my 
compilation of OpenVm 1.0beta1 to OSF1.  I'll be
happy to post it after I succesfully compile
if there are interests.
