Alternative GCs for Kaffe ?

No, I didn't, but I did not really look for performance improvements. The
main purpose of my work was to adapt kaffe to work with an already existing
software that was using Boehm GC.

I've been using Boehm GC quite a lot and I am very pleased with its
performance.
