source code description

Hi!

Is there a description of the Kaffe source code? I could not find anything
on the kaffe's web site or in the FAQs or READMEs coming with the source
code.
I am interested in a description of the Java memory model implementation
(object representation and access), garbage collector, interpreter, and
JIT (for Linux/x86 or Alpha/OSF1) implementation in Kaffe. 
Any suggestions are deeply appreciated.
