Dear Godmar, I see. Sorry. Until now, I looked at www.transvirtual.com/kaffe.html, which I found via AltaVista. This site doesn't mention www.kaffe.org, at least not prominently. So all I had was the mailing list archive. Nevertheless, this is the bug and I will install the new release. Kees Huizing
