I'd really like to try to help you, but to be able to do so, I need more 
information from you.

First I'd need the output of kaffe --fullversion to see which version of 
kaffe you're running, and os/platform details. 
Then it would be really nice if you could post some code that demonstrates 
the bug: 5-10 lines would be just fine, but in general the rule ist: the 
smaller the code is that exposes the bug, the better the chance that someone 
reads it and fixes the bug.
Finally, it would be really great if you could give us more information on 
which code you went through, and why you think the bug happens at a lock 
timeout.

Follow the above, and I bet you'll get more useful responses from kaffe 
developers :)
