[kaffe] segmentation fault in LIBRARYLOAD

I'm getting segmentation fault in "kaffe/kaffevm/external.c  " in function
loadNativeLibrary 
at line No -271   LIBRARYLOAD(lib-desc, lib-name)

while it is trying to load  "/kaffe/jre/lib/powerpc/libnative.la"
libnative.la is there in it's path

I 've made links in /lib for libdl.so also as written in FAQ.linux

could somebody help?
