[kaffe] Prerequesits for adding code to kaffe

Hi,
we got some student for doing some porting work on kaffe. To make sure 
we are able to get this work back into the kaffe sources we want to 
check some of the prerequesits.
I remember a thread on this mailing list about DOs and DONTs if someone 
wants to contribute (especially such as "have you seen the Sun JVM 
source"). If someone could give me a hint (I can't find the mail in my 
local archive). Or is there a webpage?
