[kaffe] lilnking problems on NetBSD/sparc

Hello,

recently. Recently (since the 6th of April) building on NetBSD/sparc 1.6.
2 fails with:
Compiling classes from  @essential.files  using  /home/multix/kaffe-cvs/
netbsd-sparc/kaffe/kaffe/kaffe-bin -verbosegc -mx 256M at.dms.kjc.Main
/home/multix/kaffe-cvs/netbsd-sparc/kaffe/kaffe/../kaffevm/.libs/
libkaffevm-1.1.x-cvs.so: Undefined symbol "" (reloc type = 12, symnum = 
12)
gmake[1]: *** [lib/stamp] Error 1

This seems to be a linker error, but it wasn't happening on April 3rd or 
earlier, so I wonder what changed.
Updates in autotools and libtool?

It appears to be similar as this:

but I am running latest 1.6.2 ....
