[kaffe] Sombie Sockets

Hello List:

Someone know if there is a special way to deal with sombie/dead sockets that 
made lockings, on kaffe, that differs froms sun jdk/jre?
I'm using kaffe on uClib and sockets locks threads on my http webserver.
Some times a socket appear opened for a cup o days even was closed or time 
out, then the thread never get back to idle.

I'm n00b on sockets.
Comments, suggests are welcome.
