Hi Ryan,

I've got past the JAR problem by using the java.util.zip implementation
from GNU Classpath, instead of Kaffe's. It seems that Kaffe's jar
reading code has a few problems, unfortunately. It would be interesting
to try to merge in the java.util.zip code from gcj, which also uses
zlib, like Kaffe.

Unfortunately, even with that fix, I got stuck on a GNU Classpath AWT
bug. Mark Wielaard is working on a fix for that one. I'll try to merge
more of java.util.zip with GNU Classpath meanwhile.

cheers,
