Thanks for the bug report, Riccardo. It turned out that the CDPATH=:
command I had in the compile-classes task confuses zsh (the shell used
in Darwin5, later Apple switched to bash, apparently), and leads it to
add spurious directories to jikes' invocation paramers.

Fix is in CVS now.
