[kaffe] About the garbage collection initialization method

Hi all.
I have a question about garbage collection algorithm.
When virtual machine is initialized, let garbage collection object initailze.
When initCollector method make garbage collector object, it stores allocation
type in gcFunctions[39] array.
Please, I hope you explain this reason.
