OK. If you want to test in the meanwhile (I'll try to build a test 
directly on irix this week-end) you can define SIGALTSTACK_NEEDS_END in 
signal.c and remove the dprintf.

I don't yet see why ClassGC.fail has this error on pthreads. I'll have a 
look this week-end.
