Mailing list going crazy?

I know this is not the place to complain about the mailing list
but I don't know exactly where to pose this question:

I just responded to one post to kaffe at kaffe.org. 
I sent my reply to kaffe at kaffe.org.

I got back  85  ( 85!)  mail delivery problem reports from
hosts I know nothing about.

What do I do?
