Native threads and native methods on Solaris

Hi,
I'm new to this mailing list and couldn't really find anything in the
archives, so here goes...

1) From looking at config/sparc/solaris2/*.c, it appears that the
solaris/sparc implementation of Kaffe is based on a user level threads
package. Is this correct?

2) If native methods are supported, either through JNI or through the old
1.02 technique, then the native method library must be linked with this
Kaffe user level threads package. Is this correct? Do you provide jacket
routines for the synchronous system calls such as read, write, etc?

Regards,
