snapshot broken? [was newbie classpath problem]

I'm still here. I should have done a "make check" before my
last post. It now errors on everything with:

PASS: HelloWorldApp.class.save
error compiling:

FAIL: HelloWorldApp.java

Again, this is a Red Hat 6.0 install with no errata installed.

I'm loosing ground....Frank

note: my classpath problem is still lurking behind this...
